<p>A method for producing a composite fabric having laminate structure, comprising the steps of: (a) providing a plurality of panels (11-14) of a first fabric (1), apt to make a substantially plane portion of the end composite fabric; (b) joining said panels (11-14) so as to form a base portion of the end composite fabric; (c) associating to said base portion at least one breathable film (20), different from said first fabric (1), which is permeable to water vapour and impermeable to water.
