摘要 An array substrate for an in-plane switching mode liquid crystal display device and a method for fabricating the same are provided to form a color filter pattern without an additional partition wall by using an inkjet method. A common wire is parallel separated from a gate wire. A thin film transistor is connected to the gate wire and data wire(135). An outer-most common electrode(111) is connected to the common wire. The outer-most common electrode is formed in the outer most portion of the pixel area in parallel with the data wire. A first passivation layer(147) is formed correspondingly to the gate wire, the data wire, the common wire, and the thin film transistor. The first passivation layer has the first height from the substrate. A color filter layer(155) is contacted with the substrate in the pixel area surrounded by the first passivation layer.
