A cargo containment system for a LNG(liquefied natural gas) transport ship is provided to reduce thermal stress caused by the LNG and prevent a barrier from being damaged by flow of the LNG. A cargo containment system for a LNG(liquefied natural gas) transport ship comprises the following units. A first barrier layer(10) wherein a LNG is loaded is linked with a plurality of metal plates(12). A first insulation layer(20) forms a first insulation material fixed on an external of the first barrier layer. A second barrier layer(30) fixed on an external of the first insulation layer has a curved part.
