A core voltage generating circuit is provided to generate a stable core voltage by performing a comparing operation according to an external power voltage region of a high level and an external power voltage region of a low level. A comparing part(20) compares a reference voltage with a feedback core voltage. An amplification part(21) amplifies an external power voltage based on a signal outputted in the comparing part, and outputs a core voltage. A control switching part(23) classifies a voltage level of the external power voltage, distinguishes a current of the comparing part according to a level of the external power voltage, and includes a first switch(MN17) and a second switch(MN11). When the external power voltage is in a low level, the first switch is operated. When the external voltage is in a high level, the second switch is operated.
