An apparatus for measuring motion of a golf ball and a control method for the same are provided, which enables a user to measure the conduct of the golf ball conveniently and to predict the flying track and landing spot of the golf ball. An apparatus for measuring motion of a golf ball comprises: a sound sense(10) for sensing the hit point of the golf ball; three camera members(21~23) in which a pair of cameras formed at the top and bottom are arranged in the progressing direction of the golf ball; a communications port(18) for communicating with the external device; and a controller(16) calculating the conduct of the golf ball based on the image photographed according to the set value based on the hit point of the golf ball and outputting through the communications port.
