HOLOGRAPHIC ELEMENT AND METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION THEREOF

The inventions can be used for counterfeit marking. The inventive element comprises a base in the form of a polymer metallised film. A demetallised area, from which a metal layer is removed, and a metallised area with a hologram in the form of a holographic relief consisting of projections and recesses are arranged on the base. The demetallised area is designed to be optically transparent and the area with the hologram is designed to be optically opaque. For this purpose, the inventive method consists in forming, on the base metal surface, at least two areas with the holographic relief, saturating one of the areas with a protective fluid, for example with dye, holding said area until the protective fluid is solidified and in chemically etching the metallised film surface until the metal layer thereof is removed from the base devoid of the solidified protective liquid layer.
