<p>Fat continuous spreadable food product which comprise a dispersed aqueous phase a primary emulsifier, polyglycerol polyricinoleate, 5 to 30 wt% of fat and less than 1 wt% of hardstock and wherein the fat phase comprises at least 70 wt% of palm oil on fat phase, which is storage stable at ambient temperature and up to 40°C. The invention also provides for a method of making a spread without an inversion step.</p> |
