<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device and a drive device thereof which effectively improve the light uniformity and driving efficiency of a light source module. <P>SOLUTION: The drive device has a first node, a second node, a clock synchronizing unit, a control unit, a switch unit, and a feedback unit. The drive device is fed with an AC voltage through the first and second nodes. The clock synchronizing unit converts the AC voltage to a clock synchronizing signal. The control unit converts a predetermined luminance value to a driving current, outputs an adjusting signal according to the timing of the clock synchronizing signal, and modulates the pulse width of the adjusting signal according to a feedback signal. The switch unit determines whether to provide the AC voltage to the light source module according to the control of the adjusting signal. The feedback unit detects the loaded condition of the light source module and outputs the feedback signal to the control unit according to the detection result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
