<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game means capable of easily performing various touch operations without looking at a hand. <P>SOLUTION: The game device includes a touch panel and prescribed processing is executed when deciding that a prescribed touch operation is performed. For instance, an LCD 12 for displaying a virtual space image is provided with a virtual image area 402. When the touch operation is detected, the corresponding position of a touch position in the virtual image area 402 is calculated and a cursor 406 is displayed. The guide image 404 of a user operation can be displayed in the virtual image area 402 and the image 404 can be the reduced image of a guide image 400 displayed on an LCD 14 under the touch panel. The guide images 400 and 404 can be images corresponding to a selected operation kind, and a display form can be changed according to the decision of the operation or the display form may be changed as the display of a decided result.
