PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rapid, simple and safe biosensor for detecting emission as a signal of surface plasmon resonance. SOLUTION: The biosensor for surface plasmon resonance is equipped with a detection part constituted by fixing a detection target substance or a composite containing the detection target substance to the base material and bonding a light emitting substance to the detection target substance or the composite. This detection method of the detection target substance is characterized in that surface plasmon resonance analysis is performed using the biosensor to detect the detection target substance.
