[PROBLEMS] To register a pair of the communication address of a communication terminal and the identifier of a user according to categories without requiring the user to perform a complicated operation. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The relation of a user using each communication terminal is estimated from the distance between the communication terminals for performing communication and the date and time when the distance is measured, or the positions of the parties at the other end of the communication terminals and the date and time when the positions are measured and the contents of an address book are categorized from the result of the estimation. For example, the users who are always around with one another are classified into a "family" category because there is a high possibility that they are a family who are closest to one another, or the users who are around only during the daytime on weekdays are classified into a "co-worker" category because there is a high possibility that they belong to some same organization such as a company, or the users who are around only on weeknights or holidays are classified into a "friend" category because they are in a relation in which they spend their leisure-time together.
