The invention relates to solar tubes and to improved solar tube collectors. The improved systems are characterised by miniaturisation, for example by small housings and by reduced flow resistance of the heat transfer medium that is conducted through the collectors and likewise by minimising the pressure drop of the heat transfer medium.
