<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the amount of remaining hydrogen peroxide on the inner face of a cup without bringing about thermal deformation on the cup made of polyethylene terephthalate (PET). <P>SOLUTION: After sterilizing treatment of the cup is performed by blowing mist or gas (a) or b of hydrogen peroxide toward the inner and outer faces of the cup 1 made of PET, hot air c and d are blown toward the inner and outer faces of the cup so as not to deform, to dry the hydrogen peroxide sticking to at least the inner face. After the hydrogen peroxide is stayed in the cup until the inner face of the cup is sterilized to a required extent, blowing of the hot air is immediately started. The hot air c blown to the inner face of the cup is made to such a high temperature that the remaining amount of the hydrogen peroxide on the inner face can be decreased and the sterilization can be performed to a required extent, and the hot air d blown to the outer face is made to such a low temperature that the outer face can be sterilized to a required extent. A plurality of times of blowing of the hot air are performed until the remaining amount of the hydrogen peroxide on at least the inner face falls within an allowable range, and the container is cooled down to a required temperature by placing a cooling time from the preceding blowing of the hot air to the next blowing of the hot air. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
