<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the much simpler installation of network setting. <P>SOLUTION: The plug-and-play information of a printer is stored in a printer adaptor so that plug-and-play can be achieved in a state in which a printer is not connected. This printer adaptor device is provided with: an acquisition means for acquiring the plug-and-play information of an external printer; a storage means for storing the plug-and-play information; and an instruction means for instructing the use of the stored plug-and-play information, and configured to perform plug-and-play with host equipment based on the stored plug-and-play information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
