<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic performance apparatus etc. in which an ensemble performance with sense of uniformity and rich expression is achieved. <P>SOLUTION: When the CPU (central processing unit) of a personal computer constituting the automatic performance apparatus receives operation information from respective operation elements, the CPU decides whether the operation information is transmitted from a master operation element or is transmitted from a slave operation element on the basis of identification information etc. included in the operation information.
