<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system wherein an exclusive signal line is omitted, yet optical output of a luminaire can be controlled. <P>SOLUTION: This lighting system is equipped with a luminaire 5 having a discharge lamp 7 and a starting-circuit 5a to impress a starting voltage on the discharge lamp, and a lighting device 3 connected to the luminaire through a load line 4 to supply power to the luminaire and transmit a control signal to the starting-circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
