<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate storing container wherein the rear side of a container body is hardly broken through by an ejector pin, and to provide its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: A container body 1 is made by injection molding, and it is low in height and of a front open-box type for storing three or less semiconductor wafers. The injection-molded container body 1 is released from a mold by projecting a plurality of ejector pins 2 to the internal rear side of the container body 1. In such the substrate storing container, a rib flange 20 is integrally molded on the rear wall and the both-side walls of the container body 1, and the rib flange 20A on the rear wall is made opposite to the plurality of ejector pins 2 from the outside when it is released from a mold for the container body 1. The rib flange 20A on the rear wall of the container body 1 faces the ejector pins 2 of the mold from the outside, and it becomes an obstacle. Thus, the rib flange 20A demonstrates reinforcing function, and even if large load works because of projection of the ejector pin 2, the rear side of the container body 1 is hardly broken through by the ejector pin 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
