<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt fixing device, hardly causing cracks in a resin layer and an elastic layer due to pressurization at a nip part. <P>SOLUTION: This belt fixing device includes an endless fixing belt, a pressure roller disposed on the inside of the fixing belt, and a pressure member for pressing the fixing belt to the pressure roller, wherein a toner image on a recording material is fixed at the nip part formed between the fixing belt and the pressure member. The pressure roller has an elastic layer formed of solid rubber, the elastic layer is covered with the resin layer, and a smooth rugged part is formed along the circumferential direction of the outer peripheral surface of the pressure roller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
