PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display content of an already registered document associated with a document in time of reference to the document, in a document management system performing management by creating association with another document recorded inside the document. SOLUTION: This document management device 100 has a document DB 130 storing the already registered document and a character string expressing a document name of the already registered document. A document processing part 110 extracts the character string according with the document name of the already registered document on the document in reference to the document DB 130, generates an already linked document candidate list including information for requiring the already registered document, and adds information for requiring the document candidate list to the character string according with the document name of the already registered document on the document to generate an already linked document.
