PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strain detector where the fulcrum of an insulating substrate and a pressing member does not shift even if excessive lateral force acts on the pressing member, and the output signal is stable. SOLUTION: In the strain detector, the pressing member comprises an upper pressing member 36 and a lower pressing member 33, the insulating substrate 21 is gripped by the upper pressing member 36 and the lower pressing member 33, and the upper pressing member 36 is stuck to the insulating substrate 21.
