PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe device capable of achieving effective noise reduction and capable of protecting a user from danger such as collision in a noise reduction device mounted on an aircraft. SOLUTION: The noise reduction device is provided with a seating detection device 4 for detecting seating of the user 3 in a seat 7, microphones 1a and 1b, speakers 2a and 2b, a movable part moving the microphones 1a and 1b and the speakers 2a and 2b between a usage position and a storage position, a movable part control device 5 for controlling the movable part, and a noise control device 6 for transmitting a signal canceling the noise detected by the microphones 1a and 1b to the speakers 2a and 2b. The movable part control device 5 controls the movable part based on the information of the seating detection device 4 and stores the microphones 1a and 1b and the speakers 2a and 2b in the storage position at least when the seating detection device 4 detects non-seating, and thereby, the noise reduction device 100 convenient and safe for the user 3 can be achieved.
