PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To flexibly cope with a joint having arms which three-dimensionally extend from a trunk in a prescribed direction. SOLUTION: This pedestal 1 for joint assembling is used for assembling the joint 51 having such a structure that a plurality of the arms 53 are radially welded and fixed to the side face of the trunk 52, and is provided with: a machine platen 2 as a base for assembling the joint 51; a truck support body 3 attached to the upper face of the machine platen 2 so as to support the trunk 52 on the machine platen; and an arm support body 4 attached to the upper face of the machine platen 2 so as to support the arms 53 in positions in which the arms are welded and fixed to the trunk 52 supported on the machine platen 2. A large number of positioning holes 5 are regularly formed in alignment almost all over the upper face of the machine platen 2, and the trunk support body 3 and the arm support 4 are independently attached to the machine platen 2 so as to be individually located in prescribed positions and oriented in prescribed directions via the positioning hole 5.
