The connector has a molding (6) provided for completely enclosing an electrical conductor (2) of a multi-core cable. The cable has an end that is connected with a mechanical part in an inseparable manner, and the connector is designed in such a manner that the conductor is electrically connected to an aggregate or a bush for electrically and mechanically connecting the cable with the aggregate or bush. Sealing units (12) are provided between a housing (7) and the cable, and are designed as injected sealing lips. An independent claim is also included for a connection method under application of an electrical connector.
