PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin pellet from which drop of glass fibers scarcely occurs, which exhibits excellent handlability with respect to sanitary and environmental safety, which is substantially free of generation of bridges and pills in a hopper, which can continuously and stably be produced, and of which a molded article can be obtained, superior in strength, appearance and heat resistance. SOLUTION: A glass fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin pellet comprises a thermoplastic resin and 30 to 80 wt.% of glass fibers that are substantially arranged in parallel and which has a length in a fiber direction of 3 to 100 mm, having an interface adhesive force of at least 10 MPa in terms of the interfacial shearing strength, a pellet cross sectional area of 3 to 10 mm<2> , a ratio of major axis to minor axis at the cross section of 1 to 2.5, and a ratio of pellet length (mm) to cross section (mm<2> ) of 0.8 to 5. |
