<p>A casing (101) houses a bipolar secondary battery used for a power source of a vehicle or the like. The casing (101) includes two inner wall portions (103, 104) facing battery modules at opposite ends of the bipolar secondary battery (a plurality of battery modules). The casing (101) further includes two outer wall portions (105, 106) corresponding to the two inner wall portions (103, 104), respectively. In each of the two outer wall portions (105, 106), surface area of the central portion is larger than the surface area of an end portion. As the bipolar secondary battery is housed in the casing (101), a structure for binding and cooling the bipolar secondary battery can be simplified, and bias in temperature distribution of the bipolar secondary battery can be rectified.</p> |
