<p>A patient arm support comprises first and second elongate resilient segments extending along an axis, each having a top and a bottom surface, the bottom surface being configured to rest upon a substantially planar surface and the top surface of the first segment and the second segment being configured to respectively support an upper and a lower portion of the patient's arm. In one embodiment a void configured to receive the ulnar nerve at the elbow of the patient without the ulnar nerve contacting a surrounding surface provides axial separation between the top surfaces of the first and second resilient segments. In another embodiment the second elongate resilient segment is inclined upward as it extends away from the first elongate resilient segment.</p> |
