A gate system for sensing incoming/outgoing directions of a vehicle using radio frequency identification(RFID) is provided to inform an incoming or an outgoing direction of a vehicle accurately and read tag information of a commodity by arranging sensors successively in a gate. A gate system(100) for sensing incoming/outgoing directions of a vehicle using radio frequency identification(RFID) comprises the following units. A tag(110) stores information about a specific commodity. A receiving unit(120) recognizes the tag. A reader(130) reads the recognized tag. A first sensor and a second sensor(140, 145) sense a movement of a vehicle carrying the specific commodity. Read information about the tag, a first signal and a second signal from the reader, the first sensor and the second sensor are inputted in a controller(150). |
