GENE WITH ES CELL-SPECIFIC EXPRESSION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a probe for selecting an ES cell, and to provide a method for screening the ES cell by using the probe, etc.

SOLUTION: The probe for selecting the ES cell contains any one of DNAs having specific base sequences. The screening method of the ES cell uses this probe. Preparation of the probe for selecting the ES cell becomes feasible by identifying a plurality of genes with ES cell-specific expressions (ECAT genes) and using the information of the base sequences of these gene groups. Efficient selection of the ES cell enables supply of a large amount of the ES cell expected to be applicable to regenerative medicine.
