<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method capable of improving durability of a welded head. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the golf head club 2 for welding a plurality of metal members includes a welding process for welding other metal members 18 to a metal head body 16 and a bead grinding process in which weld bead generated by welding is ground by a grinding member. In the bead grinding process, the speed of the grinding member 24 relative to the head 2 is between 66 (km/h) and 120 (km/h). Preferably, the welding is laser welding; the head body 16 and the other members 18 are made of titanium alloy; the other members are thin members having a thickness of 0.1 mm and 1.2 mm; the titanium alloy composing the thin members isβtype titanium alloy; and the thin members compose a crown part 6 of the head 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
