<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is impossible for a following vehicle to determine whether a vehicle entering an ETC lane can pass through the ETC lane. <P>SOLUTION: When a vehicle is not allowed to pass through a gate by authentication processing with a second road side machine (N in S14), an inter-vehicle communication part receives a command from a main control part, and transmits information to the following vehicle to notify that authentication failure is received from the second road side machine (S18).
