PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outside heat insulation method for a wooden building, for rationalizing heat insulation covering and venting layer formation, by using a venting heat-insulation combined panel having a heat insulation layer and a venting layer, to thereby improve the workability of the outside heat insulation method. SOLUTION: According to the outside heat insulation method, grooves G for venting and thick wall portions 1C for layer adhesion are alternately arranged in the vertical direction on a layer adhesive surface 1S of the heat insulation layer 1B made of a foamed plastic heat insulation material, and a facing substrate (cement board) 1A made of a molded thin stiff board is bonded to the layer adhesive surface 1S in one body, to thereby obtain the venting heat-insulation combined panel 1. Then a lower edge of the panel 1 is borne by a panel bracket 6 fixed to a front surface of a concrete foundation rising portion 5, and held such that air can flow into the group of the grooves G. Further the panel 1 is fixed to a wooden skeleton WF as an external wall, and thus a draft upward air current a is circulated from a lower edge to an upper edge of the external wall via the vertical grooves G in the panel 1.
