A medical dressing (10) is disclosed for the prevention or treatment of skin damage and ulcers particularly in patients who are predisposed to such events by medical or genetic disorders such as epidermolysis bullosa, skin cancer or fragile skin resulting from the use of corticosteroids. The dressing consists of a non adherent film (16) stabilized with a backing (14). The film (16) can be, in use, in direct contact with the affected area of the patient, and the backing keeps the film in place. |
