In said method, the pressure value in a low-pressure pipe is regulated by means of an admission pressure regulation unit on the basis of a characteristic diagram or a mathematical function. The continuously measured pressure value in the high-pressure accumulator is fed to the admission pressure regulation unit as an input variable.
