A buoy for cable construction is provided to prevent the immersing of buoy although the buoy is damaged by installing a buoyant pipe inside and prevent the shaking at the sea surface and short circuit caused by drooping of cable by supporting the cable in the form of S. A buoy(100) for cable construction comprises a buoy(10) consisting of a hollow upper body(20) in which a fixture(21) is equipped on the upper side in order to fix a lighting unit(22), and a lower body(30) having a diameter which becomes smaller to the lower part and in which a weight(31) is equipped on the bottom inside, a supporting unit(32) in which a cable is inserted from the bottom surface and supported, a buoyant pipe is axially installed inside the buoy, and a clamping unit which is provided on the outside surface of the upper body in order to support the cable in the form of S so that the movement of the cable is minimized.
