<p>The invention relates to a bobbin (1) which comprises a bobbin housing (8) and a strip or thread-shaped material (5) which is wound thereon in a plurality of layers, at least one marking (M<sub>A</sub>; M<sub>E</sub>), which is in the form of a significant modification of the laying angle (f), is provided in order to display properties of the winding material (5). The invention also relates to a device which is used to identify the properties of winding material (5) on said type of bobbin (1). Said bobbin is associated with a rotational speed sensor (3). An output signal (6) of the rotational speed sensor is guided to a calculating unit (10) and the fluctuations of the output signal of the rotational speed sensor (3) according to the detection characteristics of the calculating unit, which occur when the winding material (5) is wound, produce an output signal (11) during unwinding in the region of the marking, whereas traditional rotational speed signals from non-marked areas of the winding material of the bobbin are processed by the calculating unit (10) in such a manner that no active output signal (11) is emitted.</p> |
