A stereomicroscope equipped with one lens system is provided to respectively image a left image and a right image through the one lens system of a microscope to display the 2D plane image of a subject through the stereo image display unit of a polarizing type into a 3D image, thereby maximizing the reality of the subject. A lens system images a left image or a right image of a subject at fixed magnification. A signal processing unit(300) is connected to an sensor to receive a left-eye image signal and a right-eye image signal and convert into respective left-eye image data and right eye mage data. A stereo image display unit(400) receives the left-eye image data and the right eye image data and makes a stereo image. The stereo image display unit comprises a first display device(410), a second display device(420), a half mirror(430), and an image reversal circuit(440).
