A liquid crystal display and a driving method thereof are provided to improve the display quality by preventing the direct current after image, and flickering phenomenon. Data of the input image is analyzed at each line(s1). If the data stream in which data of the white gradation(W) and data of the black gradation(B) are by turns arranged as the vertical direction or, the rows of pixels(pixel column) direction(S2). The dynamic charge sharing is performed about data voltages which the LCD panel are supplied(S3). If the data stream in which data of the white gradation and data of the black gradation are by turns arranged as the horizontal direction with 1 pixel is included(S4), the default charge sharing is performed about data voltages which the LCD panel are supplied(S5).
