The brake has brake linings (37, 38) pivoted in a brake caliper (8) e.g. floating caliper. A caliper bridge (12) in a circumferential direction (5) has main supports (25-27) and central supports (28, 29). The supports connect caliper limbs (11) to form windows (21, 22). The central supports project beyond a brake disk (2) and the linings in an axial direction. A radial wall thickness of the central supports is designed such that a spacing (A) between the central supports and a rotational axis (3) of the disk is smaller than an outer radius (R) of the disk, in an axial region of the linings. |
