Hydrophilic coating for a heat exchanger

The method involves coating surfaces of a heat exchanger destined to contact with a medium to be cooled with a treating liquid, by spraying. The liquid is dried, where the liquid contains substances to form an adherent layer possessing film forming, hydrophilic and/or antimicrobial properties after drying. The adherent layer of the liquid utilized for covering the surfaces of heat exchanger includes mineral particles whose diameter of 100 nanometer is equal to the thickness of the layer.
