摘要 A liquid crystal display device and a method for driving the same are provided to compensate the insufficient luminance by driving the viewing angle control sub pixel in IPS mode. A plurality of gate lines(103) and the first data line which is crossed at length and breadth in the first top of the substrate and defines the plurality of firsts or the fourth sub pixel(Pr, Pg, Pb, Pv)(104). One or more driver component is formed in the fourth sub pixel through the first(106, 108). A first electrode(109) and a second electrode are materially parallelly arranged and form the lateral electric field on the fourth sub pixel each first top of the substrate through the first(112). The third electrode(111) and the fourth electrode are formed in order to each other be faced with the first substrate and the second substrate of the fourth sub pixel and form the vertical electric field.
