<p>In an electromagnetic valve comprising a cylindrical sleeve formed with an input port, an output port, a drain port, and a feedback port, and a spool which is inserted into the sleeve and is formed with a plurality of lands for blocking the respective ports and a communication portion for letting the individual ports communicate with each other, an input notch is formed in an end edge of the land located on the periphery of the input port and a drain notch is formed in an end edge of the land located on the periphery of the drain port. The height (Hin) in the axis direction of the input notch and the height (Hdr) in the axis direction of the drain notch are so set that the ratio (a) of (Hin) to the sum of (Hin) and (Hdr), that is, a=Hin/(Hin+Hdr), may be within a range of not less than 0.72 (preferably, 0.85) and less than 1.0.</p> |
