<p>The supply has a transformer (1) with a primary winding (1a) and a secondary winding (1b), where the primary winding is arranged on a core (2). A switching element (3) is provided for switching a supply voltage applied to the primary winding. A capacitor (4) is switched parallel to the primary winding over a diode (5). Another switching element (6) is arranged parallel to the diode and actuated depending on the voltage of the capacitor. The latter switching element is a bipolar-transistor whose collector-emitter-section is switched parallel to the diode.</p>
