Fumigant pesticide compositions comprising an alkyl formate and an isothiocyanic ester are described, as are methods of delivering fumigants and methods of pest control using a combination of fumigants. The preferred alkyl formates include methyl formate and ethyl formate, and the preferred isothiocyanic esters include lower alkyl, lower alkenyl, phenyl or benzyl isothiocyanate esters which may be optionally substituted, and are particularly selected from methyl isothiocyanate and allyl isothiocyanate.
