<p>The arrangement of heaters (20) over a float bath tub (2) having a metal bath (3) with a float bath beginning (9a) and float bath end (9b), comprises two electric radiant heaters lying sequentially in longitudinal direction of the float bath tub. The heaters are shifted against each other around 10% of the middle interval of the further heaters in the direction of the float bath end extending itself in transverse direction of the float bath tub or shifted against each other upto 50% of the length. The heaters are arranged in longitudinal direction of the float bath tub. The heaters are arranged in longitudinal direction of the float bath tub in intermediate area between two longitudinal rows and in transverse direction of the float bath tub in two transverse rows, which are shiftably arranged to each other. The heaters extend itself vertical and/or parallel to the longitudinal direction of the float bath tub. A glass band (4) exists itself from the metal bath. The heaters shiftably arranged to each other are arranged over a glass band section, where the glass band has a viscosity of 10 3>.>5>-10 6>. The heater extending itself parallel to the longitudinal direction of the float bath tub is arranged in the area next to the glass band over the metal bath surface.
