The method for transmitting data includes the following steps. When the PDCP PDUs are successive, the PDCP PDUs are mapped into the same RLC PDU. The PDCP SN of the first PDCP PDU is reserved, and the PDCP SNs of other PDCP PDUs are deleted. The flag in the header of the RLC PDU is set to the first value to show the PDCP PDUs are successive. The method for receiving data and the related device are given. Because the redundancy information was not transmitted, the wireless resource can be saved.
