A cathode catalyst for a mixed reactant fuel cell is provided to ensure excellent output characteristic in application of the battery system, excellent catalyst activation and selectivity. A cathode catalyst(12) for a mixed reactant fuel cell comprises the first catalyst including Ru-Ch1 compound(wherein, Ch1 is a chalcogen element selected from a group consisting of S, Se, Te and their combination); and the second catalyst including a pt-Ch2 compound(wherein Ch2 is a chalcogen element selected from a group consisting of S, Se, Te and their combination).
