DEVICE AND METHOD FOR THE RECORDING AND TIME-DEFERRED PLAYBACK OF PROGRAMS

The device has a receiving unit (E) scanning broadcast programs (B) e.g. radio programs, and an output unit (TV) for viewing the programs (B). The unit (E) is designed such that an intermediate storage of transmission sections is initiated after an initiation of a control function corresponding to start and end time points of additional programs. The sections are transmitted to the output unit and a current or a following program is connected to the output unit. A memory unit (m) is provided for intermediate storage of the additional programs in two storage sections. An independent claim is also included for a method for viewing programs, in particular Broadcast programs.
