<p>The device (10) has a conveying device for conveying off bags i.e. valve bags (4), filled with bulk goods e.g. dusting material. A monitoring device (20) is associated with the conveying device and monitors tightness of the filled bags. The monitoring device includes a light weight sensor that directly captures escaping of the bulk goods from the bags to obtain a parameter for the bag tightness. A weighting device (15) in the conveying device is series connected to the monitoring device. A gap is formed between preceding and subsequent conveying units (12b, 12c).
