METHOD AND FUNCTION ENTITY FOR GETTING THE SELECTION INFORMATION OF THE IPTV SERVICE

A method for getting the selection information of the IMS IPTV service is presented to realize the discovery and selection of the IPTV service in different domains. The method involves that the UE which has attached to the IMS and registered in the IMS connects with the home SDF and gets the related service discovery information; the UE gets the non-home service selection information according to the related service discovery information. Another method for getting the selection information of the IMS IPTV service involves that the UE which has attached to the IMS and registered in the IMS requests the non-home service selection information from the related SCF; the related SCF gets the non-home service selection information and sends it to the UE. The related function entities are also presented.
