The kinematics has a hub mechanism (30) for accessing a hardtop folding roof in a loaded position, during the movement of roof between a closed position and a storage position. The hub mechanism comprises two tilt levers forming a dead center bolting device (36). The bolting device is operated with and/or against the force of a retaining unit (38), e.g. spring unit (S). Handlebars (18) are utilized for raising and/or lowering the hub mechanism. The hub mechanism is movable at a hub lever (14) that is stored in an intermediate bearing (Z).
